Betrayal of the people’s trust, They use, dump and march on

In 2022 residents of wajir from all walk of life queue to vote their leaders in different position, a race that put many in hatred, cut ties, and even some burried as result of superstition politics of vengeance and tribal clandestine. Politics to many is a dirty game but for me covering, commentating for decades it’s a very important in our life and its a natural phenomenon- reflects or It affects all of us directly or indirectly ,has effects in our existence and permeates every single walk of life, whether it is social, scientific or religious- has potential pattern that either galvanize or bore a cliche of repeatitions -  politics it involves in all structure of life several meanings, its the art and science of government, the management and conduct of government as a business or profession - politically several  methods are used to  maneuvers, especially for gaining or keeping power through scheming in  dishonesty; political activities, practices, or polici...

THE NORTHERN LEADERS A COMPROMISE OR INTEREST ORIENTED INDIVIDUALS- political hypocrisy, the mask of power THAT never give back

opinion American political journalist Michael Gerson says that political hypocrisy is "the conscious use of a mask to fool the public and gain political benefit". Two days ago Northern parliamentary groups convene a treat that they will discuss, deliberate issues are so concerned to the region - The question is that was this convention a honest,  important, deliver an implementable actions and bring a solution to our long protracted problems we are facing as residents of this part of the nation? Yeah it's a noble step for these leaders to come together to dissect things are so touch to us but one thing as i outlined above are they are honest?  We know for years our region was a theater of misconceptions,  blackmail,  injustice, backwardness and hotbed of crisis.  We know our political journey in this part of the region; mandera, Wajir and Garissa is based on negotiated democracy,  a SULTANET based of structure (clandestine syndrome) - under this s...

No need of extension limits we are already bulging nation- Expensive, Create dynasty kind leadership rule & impunity

The Nandi senator is on the pipeline on  private bill that extends the term limits for president, governors, mps to 7 years from the current 5 years - surely as my perspective it's not very sounding proposal to fast-track  - with political diffusion we are witnessing ,it Will not be wise agitation to foresee such establishment within our constitution - As we remember 2010 new dispensation has incurred huge expenditure to draft again MUTILATION to that dream will be again washing the diaper with it's own dirties. it will create a leadership of full of nepotism favourism, dictatorship and accumulated bunch of corrupts cahoots whose interest will be only for themselves, their clan oriented emperor. IMPUNITY Wil double immensely forging a political unrest, divide rule syndrome and create escalation- skirmishes everywhere why? once that passed, the urge for boundaries review will commence hence those Politicians Will automatically fuel conflicts - majorities versus minorities rifts ...

CDF fund should not a bargaining tool for political gain, transparency and be purposely objective - should be scrapped or amendments

When the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) was introduced in 2003, it promised to make the Legislature financially independent of the president and to bring development closer to the people. But the Fund has been plagued by allegations of corruption and there is little evidence that it has significantly improved service provision at the constituency level. So is it time to get rid of the CDF? What is the Way forward? The battle to wrestle the Constituency Development Fund from the control of legislators is set for a new phase as MPs plot a new strategy to defeat the court order. Last Year A bench of five judges led by Chief Justice Martha Koome ruled out that the CDF Act, 2013 violates the principle of separation of powers, hence is unconstitutional. This came as a major win for critics, who have come together under a group of NGOs led by The Institute for Social Accountability (Tisa). But newly elected MPs have already dismissed the significance of the Supreme Court ruling on g...
