No need of extension limits we are already bulging nation- Expensive, Create dynasty kind leadership rule & impunity

The Nandi senator is on the pipeline on  private bill that extends the term limits for president, governors, mps to 7 years from the current 5 years - surely as my perspective it's not very sounding proposal to fast-track  - with political diffusion we are witnessing ,it Will not be wise agitation to foresee such establishment within our constitution - As we remember 2010 new dispensation has incurred huge expenditure to draft again MUTILATION to that dream will be again washing the diaper with it's own dirties. it will create a leadership of full of nepotism favourism, dictatorship and accumulated bunch of corrupts cahoots whose interest will be only for themselves, their clan oriented emperor.

IMPUNITY Wil double immensely forging a political unrest, divide rule syndrome and create escalation- skirmishes everywhere why? once that passed, the urge for boundaries review will commence hence those Politicians Will automatically fuel conflicts - majorities versus minorities rifts Some end political orphans - we know in the ground today for example in the Counties what is happening now is full of economical crime, governors acting as immune systems - corruption taking over. county government becomes tools for someone citizens are left out poor, too much disparities and despair what about that governor is given seven years term no doubt he/she will massacre anyone who is against him not physically but politically, economically and socially.

Further Cherargei, in his Bill, seeks to have the impeachment of Governors and Deputy Governors to be challenged only at the Supreme Court, which must then make a determination within 30 days and both Houses of Parliament to approve deployment of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). Surely is this not purely political hoodwink and derailment and betrayal  to our independence and the dreams of our forefathers. it has a magnitude of itself if that sails through,  showering governors to a mighty leadership, alternatively for that seat to be contested (if we accept the Cherargei proposal) then the qualifications for someone to vie gubernatorial he should be having master degree from recognized public universities, they should declare their wealth before approval of independence Electoral Boundaries Commission, a lifestyle audit must done and  the SRC should lower the salaries with that at least we can have sanity in our leadership.

I think extension of terms for the president, governors and mps is totally a  jeopardy in the making - it's better he proposes lowering the term to three years for accountability, transparency, democracy, served delivery, unity and nation building to ignite in .

Cherargei, who has come under criticism from certain quarters for sponsoring the Bill, said he is exercising his right as a legislator and Kenyans are free to critic, amend or even reject his proposal.

According to Cherargei, he saw it fit to introduce the amendment after the NADCO report was tabled to supplement and spice it further by introducing the Constitution of Kenya Amendment Bill, 2024 at the Senate which will assist in curing political impasse witnessed after every General Election- NADCO report adopted 22 Feb. 2024.

in nutshell such proposal Will bring more harm than good in our society - very expensive process because it needs lot's of engagement before it goes to the parliament -in our today's parliament impunity and cartels have ruled - it's a doom house, that needs to FUMIGATED by us Kenyan citizens - with poverty level high politicians Wil continue to take advantage, they are jury and the judge.

With recent Genz liberation call I believe if together with millennial generations and others who love their countries, the patriotic stand firm we will free our nation from political abductors. it's time we lead the spirit of Kenya ni NCHI YANGU to go against anything that cripple our independence- we put our hands, mind, hearts, brains to stage new Kenya, Kenya of free from corruption, political dynasty, tribal -clan conflicts, unemployment, intimidation, breach of the law especially the constitution which is supreme, acceptance of freedom of speech expression and picketing peacefully.

Thus Cherargei ambitious draft may it have more of nitty-gritty in it but he should look into the picture of our political set-up - National politics and County politics is difference - mostly the negotiated democracy formula is applied almost all Counties so It cannot go juxtapose with National politics.

For now what we need from our leaders who are representing us both Houses they should listen to our plights, how we suffering as citizens, they should set law that favours us including bringing down the cost of living standard - lowering tax,  calling the president to be citizen minded leader, engage with electorates so that they hear the concerns - our parliament should be a house of free from political affiliations, corruption, solicitation, executive orders when it comes to masses call and lives.

 God bless Kenya, it's citizen.
