A section of MCAs from wajir County have urged youths to shun away the use of drugs and instead engage in sporting and cultural activities for recreation.
Speaking at jogbaru football ground over the weekend while official launch of Heritage Football club New Jersey after the they were invited by the club.
The Mcas from different Wards urged the youth to keep themselves busy with sports and cultural activities during their free time saying drugs and alcohol can derail their life, academic and social development.
The leaders also urge the youths to be United so that to build a community of cohesiveness saying the team groups must nurture a peaceful environment.
They promised to support Heritage team club despite myriad problems in the sport industry in Wajir County.
